A job search that tells you the truth.

I'm an analyst, so when my job search started to feel like a second job, I built Job Hunt Well to run it. It watches the job boards so I don't have to, tailors my CV without rewording anything I did, logs applications from my inbox, and tells me from real reply times when I've been ghosted. A few people asked if they could use it too. This page is how I find out whether to build that version.

What it does differently

1Watches the boards for me every 4 hours

Checks 144 company job boards directly, not the job sites. No pasting links: it brings me the postings that match what I'm actually looking for.

2Tailors without rewording checked

Writes a CV and cover letter for a role in under a minute. It can rewrite my summary and reorder my bullets, and a check stops it changing the wording of anything I did.

3Knows when silence means no

Instead of hoping, it works out from how long real replies have taken when an application has gone quiet, when to chase, and when it's time to move on.

4Logs applications itself daily

Reads my inbox, read-only, and logs every application and reply, whichever site or recruiter it came through. It also warns me before I apply to the same role twice.

And it scores the fit 0–100

Reads each posting against my CV, then gives me a score, the reasons for it, the concerns, and which of my real examples covers each requirement. It says so plainly when I don't have one.

What it won't do

  • Apply for you. Mass-applying is how everyone ended up ignoring everyone else.
  • Make up experience or puff up your numbers. Everything it writes comes from your own CV.
  • Send email from your inbox. It only reads it.
  • Sell your data, or show it to recruiters.

Questions

Can I use it now?
Not yet. Right now it runs for one person: me. If enough people join, I'll build a version anyone can set up in a few minutes.
Who is it for?
It started with UK roles in analytics and product, because that's my search. Tell me what you're after above and it'll shape what comes next.
What will it cost?
That's still open, which is why the form asks. Running mine costs about £3 a month.
